The KeyLab Mesoscale Characterization: Scattering Techniques provides state-of-the-art X-Ray Scattering infrastructure for the characterization of complex structures and in-situ structure formation processes of matter on length scales from 1-250 nm. For that purpose, a high-performance Small-Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) beamline is used.
The instrumental setup allows for the analysis of a wide range of samples, including diluted solutions, gels, pastes, melts, solids or fibers. These materials are characterized regarding their nano-structure and structural dynamics.
