RegenHU 3D Discovery (3DD)

is for laboratory-scale, additive manufacturing of 3D objects using natural and synthetic materials.

Leica M205C Stereomicroscope

The Leica M205C Stereomicroscope is intended for producing 3D images by the optical magnification of a sample using reflected or transmitted light.

The KeyLab Adaptive Biomanufacturing focuses on the development of polymeric three-dimensional structures. The main research focus lies in the generation of biologically active templates suitable for the controlled incorporation of living cells (before or after structure formation). Based on structure- and function-optimized three-dimensional polymeric materials with well-defined properties like pore size, mechanical properties, and interface activities, potential applications in the field of regenerative medicine are evaluated.

Available techniques for the preparation of three-dimensional structures include rapid prototyping (RP) techniques covering electro and dry spinning processes, extrusion, plotting and coating. The application of different techniques within one production process leading to shorter processing times and significantly increased precision are aspired.
