The KeyLab Small Scale Polymer Processing is specialized in the processing of small quantities (gram-scale) of polymers into fibers, films, and three-dimensional objects. Specific expertise of the KeyLab is micro injection molding and the preparation of polymer samples in a small-scale processes.
The preparation of polymer blends, (highly) filled polymers, the incorporation of nanomaterials and other components via batch and continuous mixers is also in the scope of the KeyLab Small Scale Polymer Processing.
The KeyLab also offers efficient material characterization with respect to the mechanical, fracture mechanical, thermal and electronic properties of miniature test specimen under different sample conditions. Test specimen featuring different sample geometries can be realized.
